ClipStack ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our clipboard manager app handles your information.

TL;DR: ClipStack does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All your clipboard data stays on your device.

Data Collection

ClipStack does not collect any personal information. We do not:

Collect your clipboard content
Track your usage
Use analytics services
Display advertisements
Share any data with third parties

Local Storage

All clipboard items you save are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data:

Never leaves your device
Is not backed up to any external servers
Syncs between app components (main app, widgets, keyboard) using Apple's App Groups — entirely on-device
Can be deleted at any time from within the app

Face ID / Touch ID

If you enable biometric protection for private clips:

Authentication is processed entirely on your device by Apple's secure enclave
We never access, store, or transmit biometric data
This feature is optional and can be disabled at any time

In-App Purchases

ClipStack offers optional Pro features through a one-time in-app purchase. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

Third-Party Services

ClipStack does not integrate with any third-party services including:

Analytics platforms
Advertising networks
Crash reporting services
Social media platforms

Children's Privacy

ClipStack does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.

Data Security

Your data is protected by:

iOS built-in encryption
App sandbox isolation
Optional Face ID/Touch ID protection
No network transmission of clipboard data

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

Delete individual clips anytime
Delete all data by uninstalling the app
Export your data (JSON/CSV) from within the app

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
